Hard luck to the AHL4 team who were beaten in the Championship semi-final.

The AFL4 team are playing St Monicas at home on Saturday 9th September at 6.15pm and the AFL8 team are also at home to Round Towers Lusk on Sunday 9th September at 11am.

To apply for All Ireland Football Final tickets, please contact the club email address stfiniansgaaclubswords@gmail.com or text Maree McDonough by 8pm Thursday 15th September. NB - Only fully paid up adult members can purchase tickets through the club and only one ticket may be ordered per member. The Executive Committee will endeavour to facilitate ticket allocation in a fair manner with fully paid up members but if demand exceeds supply, a draw will take place to pick club members who will be offered the opportunity to purchase All Ireland Football final tickets.

Congratulations to Liam Doyle in Ridgewood who won the pair of stand tickets for the All Ireland Hurling Final in the Club draw. The winning ticket was sold by Minor Coach John McGuirk.

A reminder that the club is holding a raffle for two Stand Tickets for the two Stand Tickets for the All Ireland Football Final on Sunday 17th September. The draw for the All Ireland Hurling Final tickets took place on Thursday 31st August and the names drawn to purchase tickets were Rose Curran, Liam Doyle, Mick Lawton, Angela Murphy, Ger Edwards. Raffle tickets are €5 each and are available from the Clubhouse Office, Mentors or any Committee member.

The club is holding a Pre All-Ireland Football final race night fundraiser on Saturday 16th September upstairs in Peacocks at 8.30pm. Race Cards & horses are available from Team Mentors or any member of the Executive Committee. The draw for the All Ireland Football final stand tickets will also take place at the Race Night.

The very best of luck to Ciara Buchanan from the Adult Camogie team who is playing on the Dublin Junior Team in the All Ireland Junior Camogie final on Sunday 10th September at noon. Ciara was in attendance at  some of the underage Camogie training sessions during the week to share her experience and skills.

The Nursery (4-5 year old boys and girls) & Academy (6-7 year old boys and girls) sponsored by Sky Handling Partner will resume on Saturday 9th September at 10am & 11.30am respectively after the Summer break in River Valley pitches. New members are always welcome. We are always looking for parents to become involved in coaching also.

The Coffee Shop will reopen on Saturday 9th September at 10am. All are welcome for a cuppa and a chat!

Fhionns afterschool & Breakfast club operates in the Clubhouse Activity room daily on Monday to Friday. For further details, please contact Karen at 087 771 1856.

Club Lotto - The club lotto jackpot on the 1st September was €2700 and the numbers drawn were 7, 15, 18, 27. There was no winner. Lucky Dip Winners of €40 were D Keely, John Cushman, Brenda Green,  Aine Curran. Next week’s jackpot is €2800.

The club bingo takes place this and every Friday upstairs in Peacocks at 8.30pm. The jackpot is €600!
