Club Notes 10th September 2017

It was mixed fortunes for the Adult Football teams. The AFL4 team beat St Monicas in Ridgewood on Saturday evening, while the AFL8 Team were beaten at home by Round Towers on Sunday morning.
The AHL4 team are playing Cuala away on Saturday 16th September at 5pm. The Adult camogie team are playing Cuala B at home in the Senior 7s Championship Group 2. All support welcome and appreciated.
To apply for All Ireland Football Final tickets, please contact the club email address or text Maree McDonough by 8pm Thursday 15th September. NB - Only fully paid up adult members can purchase tickets through the club and only one ticket may be ordered per member. The Executive Committee will endeavour to facilitate ticket allocation in a fair manner with fully paid up members but if demand exceeds supply, a draw will take place to pick club members who will be offered the opportunity to purchase All Ireland Football final tickets.
A reminder that the club is holding a raffle for two Stand Tickets for the All Ireland Football Final on Sunday 17th September. Raffle tickets are €5 each and are available from the Clubhouse Office, Mentors or any Committee member.
A reminder also that the club is holding a Pre All-Ireland Football final race night fundraiser on Saturday 16th September upstairs in Peacocks at 8.30pm. Race Cards & horses are available from Team Mentors or any member of the Executive Committee. The draw for the All Ireland Football final stand tickets will also take place at the Race Night.
Well done to Ciara Buchanan who was on the Dublin Junior Camogie team who played in the All Ireland Camogie final on Sunday. Despite a narrow defeat for the Dubs, this was a great achievement for the club & Ciara who is an excellent role model for Juvenile players coming through the club. There was also strong support from the underage camogie teams who were in attendance who also made vidoes of support which were posted on the Club Facebook page.
Congratulations to the five St Finians girls Ellie Kane, Emma Howe, Ciara Laird, Teagen Comber, Grace Murray who represented the club in the All Ireland under 14 Camogie blitz on Saturday.
A big thank you to all those who helped with the Nursery & Academy on Saturday morning led by our new GPO Paul Lyons who joins us from Erins Isle. There were record numbers in attendance! The underage structures in the club are in excellent shape! Check out the club Facebook page for photos of the morning.
The Coffee Shop is open this and every Saturday from 10am to 1pm. All are welcome for a cuppa and a chat!

Club Lotto - The club lotto jackpot on the 8thSeptember was €2800 and the numbers drawn were 2, 16, 21, 25. There was no winner. Lucky Dip Winners of €40 were Catriona & Brendan, Jennifer Daly, Noel Heffernan, Mags & Rose. Next week’s jackpot is €2900.
The club bingo takes place this and every Friday upstairs in Peacocks at 8.30pm. The jackpot is €650!
The Club Shop is open on Thursday evenings from 7pm to 9pm every Thursday evening and Saturday mornings from 10am to 1pm. Check out the latest price list on the club website . Club Shop vouchers make excellent presents.
