The camogie section of St.Finian’s has been steadily growing each year since its instigation back in 1999. An early attempt had been made to develop a camogie section in St. Finian’s in 1984 but it didn't survive due to the unavailability of a suitable pitch at the time. In 1999 the camogie section was revived and great efforts were made to put it on a firm footing.

From the first efforts to form an U-11 team, a nursery section was developed and the following year we sent forward U-12 and U-14 teams to compete in the Dublin Leagues. The Club also fielded teams in U-10 Blitzes and in Feile competitions. A landmark for the Camogie section was reached in 2004 when our U-14 team came in winners of the division 3 league. Our U-11 teams also competed well in the Gormanstown Indoor Tournament.

Another landmark was reached this year when our first adult camogie Junior B team was entered in the Open Cup and League and continues to compete with great heart and no little skill.
