2023 marks 40 years since the formation of St Finian's GAA Club and to honour this memorable moment, the club organised a number of events.
As well as an amazing St Patricks day celebration, and a quiz night, the above events were our main celebrations. Huge thank you to everyone involved in organising, planning and executing such great days! They were memories we will cherish for a long time to come!
St Patricks Day
St Finian's Gaa proudly led the Swords St Patrick's Day parade this year. The theme was our 40th birthday party and all members were determined to celebrate this huge milestone. There was a huge turnout of members both young and old wearing club, county and country colours along with birthday banners, balloons and flags. Heavy rain did not dampen the party mood.
After the parade the party continued in the clubhouse with live trad music , a magic show and spectacular Irish dancing from local group Dance Hall Academy.
Thank you to everyone who took part and to all who donated food and drinks for the after party. It was a very special day celebrating our amazing club and community spirit.
