FASHION SHOW A HUGE SUCCESS

November 25, 2010

Congratulations to the organisers of our Fashion Show last Saturday, it was a huge success and very enjoyable for all the attended. All the hard work paid off. Well done to all the 'models' also.

Our new Committee was elected at the AGM on Thursday evening. Best wishes to our new Chairman Robbie Callanan for the upcoming year.

Lotto Result: Jackpot €8,900. Numbers drawn 4, 17, 23, 24. There was no winner. €50 winners were Declan Walshe and Patsy/Shirley. Next weeks Jackpot is €9,000


UNDER 15 HURLERS ADVANCE

November 25, 2010

Congratulations to the lads on the Under 15 Hurling team who won their quarter-final in the hurling championship against Na Fianna B. A great team performance and stand-out displays by Eoin O'Connor, Ciaran O'Carroll and Cian O'Hagan ensured a fine victory by 3-13 to 2-02. The semi-final takes place on Sunday 10th of October away vs Crumlin

Camogie AGM will take place on Monday 6th December at 9 0'clock in the Clubhouse. All players, mentors and parents are invited to attend.

Join us for our special Christmas coffee morning on Saturday 18th December at 11am in our Clubhouse. Complimentary teas, coffees and mince pies served. There will be a raffle for a beautiful homemade Christmas cake kindly donated by Rose Curran. Come along and share some Christmas cheer.

The Ladies Night Out is happening on Friday 10th December. Dinner and show in the Regency Hotel, cost app, €50 . If interested please give your name to Maree with €10 deposit to secure place. This was a great night last year so do come along. Juvenile County Board AGM on Wednesday December 1st. If any mentors require matters raised please contact your CCC representative. The planned Camogie AGM is POSTPONED until Monday 13th December at 9 0'clock in the Clubhouse. All players, mentors and parents are invited to attend.

CLUB NOTES 13/12/2010

Camogie AGM on Monday 13th Dec. at 9 o'clock in clubhouse,. All adult players, mentors and parents are invited to attend.

HO! HO! HO!- Santa is paying a visit to the clubhouse on Tue at 5.30.

Juvenile Committee meeting in clubhouse Wed at 8.30.

Mentors night will be held in Peacock's on Thur. 16th at 8.30.

The juvenile section is bag packing this weekend in Super Valu, Boroimhe. All support needed. We need parents to supervise and to sell lotto tickets. If anyone can help please give your name to any committee member. If you can give an hour of your time it would make a difference. Bag packing starts on Thursday night 16th, 5 - 9 o'clock, Friday night 17th, 5-9 o'clock, and all day Saturday 18th.

A reminder of our Christmas coffee morning in the clubhouse on Saturday 18th December at 11 o'clock. Complimentary tea, coffee and mince pies served. The raffle for the Christmas cake (baked by our very own Delia) Rose Curran will be held . Take some time out to relax from the hectic season that is Christmas.

A very enjoyable night was had on our ladies night out in the Regency hotel. They danced the night away. Thanks to Maree and Nuala for organising it.

Lotto Numbers for 12/12/2010 are 7,12,30,24, No winner. €50 winners were Mrs.GRICE and Mrs. MURRAY. Next week's jackpot will be €9,450. 

CLUB NOTES 20/12/2010 

Congratulations to Noel Lynch who won the Lotto Jackpot of €9,450 just in time for Christmas. The winning numbers were 7,8,17,18. The next draw will take place on January 2nd and the Jackpot will be €1,000.

The Juvenile section did a great job bag packing in SuperValu last week. Many thanks to all who helped out.Membership is now due. Early payment is very important for the club.The annual Married vs Singles challenge takes place in Nevinstown on St.Stephen's Day at 11.00.

The format may change to a River Valley vs Rest of World. The post match analysis will take place in Peacocks.Let them eat Christmas cake - Denis O'Keeffe was the winner of the Christmas cake raffle.Wishing all our members and sponsors a very Merry Christmas and a successful New Year

WEBSITE LAUNCH - 23RD DECEMBER  

The new St Finians website will be launched this evening. Over the next few hours www.stfinians.com will be brought over to the sportsmanager platform. All fixtures and results for all teams in the Club will be brought through this site

We hope that you surf around have a look at the league tables for all teams, check out the player profiles and history of the club.

We hope the new website will become a powerful communication tool for the club
